Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How can I make a digital copy of my photograph?

You can digitize any photo by scanning it and saving it to a CD or your hard drive. If you have a scanner you can do this yourself. If not, you can take your photo to a local photo lab or chain such as Kinkos, Staples, Wal Mart, or most drugstores.

Q. Is there a way to make sure my photographs are safe when I send them?

If you are sending your original photos be sure to send them in sturdy packaging marked "Do not Fold" and send them through a reputable service.

You can also scan your photos and send digital copies on CD or email copies. This way, there is no way your original photos can be lost or damaged in the mail.

Q. Will I be able to request changes to my restoration?

Before sending your finished product(s) I will email you a small watermarked copy for your approval. If you desire changes at that stage they will be made.

Q. How long does a restoration take?

Depending on the extent of the damage to the photographs or the amount of alteration you desire a reconstruction can take up to 20 days from the time I receive it, or as little as one day for minor fixes.
